Drew is our Marketing Manager and is responsible for, among many other things, creating the very cool Matterport 3D virtual tours. Drew was born and raised in Hilton Head Island and is an avid outdoorsman and loves hunting and fishing.
Please tell us about you and your family.
I am the son of Julie Timms and the late Perry Pawley. My stepfather is Bernard Timms and my sister Caroline Wilkerson has a daughter, my niece Sabine “Beanie” Wilkerson and a husband Sasha Wilkerson.
What inspired you or led you to your career?
After graduating with a Business degree from the University of South Carolina I joined the family business.
What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Cowboy Brazilian Steakhouse and It’s Greek To Me
If you could travel anywhere in the world (safely) right now, where would it be and why?
Not sure where to begin, but Japan, Africa, and Australia are on my list. I would love to go to Argentina for one of their wing shooting trips.
What advice would you give to people?
Sometimes it’s best to let others do the dirty work for you. Other things are better done yourself.
What is something on your bucket list?
Harvesting a cape buffalo in an African safari
What is your go-to band/music genre when you can’t decide what to listen to?
I don’t have one, I just listen to a wide variety of music.
If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Willie Robertson from Duck Dynasty because we share similar tastes. I would treat him to a nice lunch at It’s Greek To Me.
What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
There’s plenty of fishing opportunities to enjoy around here.
Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
On my own tract of hunting land complete with fishing pond.
What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
It would either be Italy or Valle Crucis, NC in the Fall
If you were cast in a movie and could choose your costar, who would it be?
Bruce Willis
Favorite month? holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
Don’t really have a favorite month, but I do like Christmas.
What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
Landing a great “wall hanger” Blue Marlin – That was a great experience.
